Our brick matching service was challenged by our customer AH to supply brick slips to match the bricks used on the properties in his local area. These bricks were also used on the adjoining property to his home. The bricks were Ivanhoe Creams but using new bricks cut into slips were not an option on this project. AH wanted the slips to be weathered to match the existing bricks.
Normally this wouldn’t be possible, but we contacted one of our specialist Brick Selectors who found Ivanhoe Creams but in off shades. Off shades are bricks purchased from brick manufacturers that aren’t the correct shade to what is advertised, therefore, sold off brand. These off shades matched the existing properties and AH decided to place his order.
