Our sliced stone panels from Zamaratti are real natural stone veneer panels.  The stone surface is enforced from the back with fibre glass for better stability, flexibility and easy installation.  To produce these sliced stone panels, we choose only the most beautiful slate blocks from around the world.  With a revolutionary quarrying method, it is possible to produce many thin stone layers from massive slate blocks of up to 5 tons.

These sliced stone panels are not only characterised by beautiful natural patterns and colours, but also by other properties.  Sliced stone due to its thinness is completely flexible and very light at 1.5 kg per sqm.  All chemical components making up our sliced stone panels are harmless to health and correspond to the highest quality standards.

Use our sliced stone panels to create the most amazing designs and limitless concepts.  Giving an elegance created by nature.

Interior Application:  Sliced stone can add texture and ambience to kitchen, bedroom and living room walls.  while if used in bathrooms gives a rustic or natural vibe because of its natural colours.  In a business environment these panels can be used to give a natural stone vibe to dull spaces.

Tools you will need:

B3, 3mm notch trowel,
Angle grinder or circular saw,
Masking tape,
Silicone gun.

On any cutting tools we recommend using diamond blades for a cleaner cut.  However, wood working tools will work.  Please make sure that no adhesive is left on the façade face of the panels. Use a low adhesion masking tape around the edge of the panels during the bonding process. DO NOT leave the tape on the surface for too long.

Step 1. If necessary, cut the sheet to the desired size.
Step 2. Mask off the edges of the sheet with masking tape to keep any overflowing glue touching the panel facade.
Step 3. Apply an adhesive suitable for Zamaratti sliced stone over the entire surface of the wall or the back of the panel.
Step 4. Position the slate at the desired position and press firmly.
Step 5. Depending on the application, apply any natural stone sealant with a cloth or a lint-free roller.

It is advisable to wear rubber gloves while working with sliced stone panels. For a full surface adhesion apply the adhesive to the back of the material or to the wall with a B3 toothed trowel (Do not use a smooth scraper).  Apply the sheet to the required position and slightly press it onto the glued surface evenly.  To reach the best possible result use a level and work from the bottom edge upwards or for flooring from one side to the other.
